At Ship Schools, we make it safe and simple to get your clubs to college and back home. Simply follow the steps below to ensure that your golf clubs arrive at your destination securely and on-time.
First, remove your club heads from the shaft, if able to, and mark their settings with blue painter’s tape. Wrap your club heads in bubble wrap or place them inside their respective club head cover and stow them in a pocket of your golf bag. For additional protection, add a stiff arm to the bag by extending it and locking it in place. Wrap a golf towel or bubble wrap around the shafts of your clubs for added protection, too.
Carefully place your clubs in your soft travel bag, hard case, or box and secure it shut. Print your shipping label(s). Labels can be accessed in your 'Order Confirmation' email or by logging into your Ship Schools account. Be sure to print two copies of your shipping label, one to be placed on the inside of your travel bag and one for the outside. If you have booked a round-trip shipment you should bring your return labels with you. Packaging return labels inside your outbound shipment may cause a delivery issue.
Use a fly tag or an oversized luggage tag to attach your shipping label to your soft travel bag or hard case. These tags can typically be acquired from a nearby FedEx Office Print & Ship Center or UPS Store. To find a location near you, click here. Tags can also be purchased over the phone by contacting us. Labels may be taped to your shipment using clear packaging tape if you are shipping your golf clubs in a box.
